If you own an Android mobile the word 'rooting' will be families to you. If you didn't know what is rooting, here it is. Rooting is the process of getting permission to edit files in your rom. What is rom?? It is this rom which stores the files of Android OS. Before rooting you cannot edit or see these files. But after rooting you will get access to rom. Which means you will get the permission to edit the rom files or files of Android.

Some apps run in background consuming a good part of ram. Even if you close them they will open automatically. After rooting you can stop/freeze them
Move apps from internal memory to SD Card
You may have noticed that some apps cannot be installed in sd card. But using link2sd/app2sd you can move them to sd card
